Helping Hands Op Shops - Relocation dates
If you’ve had anything to do with Helping Hands over the last year, you’ve probably heard about Our Big Move.
For anyone who’s missed it; In early 2023 we were given the news that our home in Fullarton Road was being developed in 2024 and we would have to find a new home. We’ve found a new site at 14 McIntosh Street, Airport West, and have spent the last six months working very hard to turn this site into our new home.
You might have been following along with the updates posted on our social media pages, or seen the pictures put up in the hallway at out Fullarton Road Op Shop, and now we can finally share the official moving dates you’ve been so patiently waiting for!
Gaye’s Vintage
Our beloved Gaye’s Vintage Shop (located at 18 Knighton Ave) will be moving right alongside our Fullarton Road store.
On Saturday the 17th of February, our Gaye’s Vintage will close its doors for the last time. But it’s definitely not the end – just the beginning of a new adventure…
We are relocating everything you love about Gaye’s Vintage Shop – the people, the atmosphere and all of the amazing vintage treasures – to our new home at 14 McIntosh Street in Airport West.
We know how special Gaye’s Vintage Shop is, so we are literally rebuilding it within our new op shop.
If Gaye’s Vintage Shop is important to you, we’d love you to come along on our last day and enjoy morning tea, share your favourite memories with the team and get one last vintage op shopping fix before we close the doors. Pop in anytime between 10am – 4pm.
Fullarton Road’s Last Day
On Saturday the 24th of February, Helping Hands Op Shop at Fullarton Road, Airport West will open its doors for the last time.
We’d love you to come along and snap up some great bargains as we clear the shelves, the racks, and the floor.
We have been so busy working behind the scenes to build our new home, and we will be closed for one week from Monday 26th February as we relocate.
We promise everything you love is coming with us - the people, the great prices and the atmosphere that makes our op shop so special!
