We do not rely on government funding to run our programs - we work hard to generate funds through sales in our Op Shops - so every donation from the community counts, no matter the amount. Donated funds go straight towards building and delivering our Emergency and Material Aid Programs.

Helping Hands Mission’s Emergency and Material Aid Programs rely on the generous donations of community members to support those in hardship. These donations also stock our Op Shops, which in turn fund our Aid Programs, so you can be assured that no matter which area your donations are used in they will be helping local families in need.

We can accept most of your good quality household items, and donations can be dropped off at any of our five stores between 10am - 3pm, Monday to Saturday (1pm on Saturdays at our Roxy store). Alternatively we offer a free pickup service for larger donations. Stock levels vary from day to day as different donations come in from the community, so please use the button below to contact us for more information on items we can currently accept or to arrange a free pickup of your donations.

Helping Hands Mission’s Sunshine and Airport West Community Pantries support Victorian families facing hardship. With two food pantries serving over five hundred families each week, we appreciate all donations of food and toiletries, both perishable and non-perishable.

Donations for the pantry can be dropped off at any of our five Op Shops around Melbourne, or directly to the Pantry volunteers at Sunshine or Airport West.

If you are a food manufacturing business, shop or restaurant with stock to donate, please complete the form below and our team will be in touch soon. We have Deductible Gift Recipient status and can provide an invoice for the items you donate.
